• Do I need an appointment to see an apartment?
We do recommend making an appointment to tour an apartment but typically it's not required. At this time though we kindly ask that you check the specific community website to confirm since guidelines are dynamic in each state at this time. 

• Do I need renter's insurance?
Yes, we do require renter's insurance for our apartments.

• How do I submit a maintenance request?
Simply visit our Aptexx Portal to get started or login if you already have an account.

• What should I do if the office is closed and I have a maintenance emergency?
Please call the maintenance emergency phone number for your community.

• What is considered a maintenance emergency?
A maintenance emergency is something that could cause injury, threaten your health, or cause serious property damage if it is not repaired immediately.

• When is rent due?
Rent is due the first day of each month.

• What do I need to apply for an apartment?
You can apply for an apartment online! Or visit our community and we will help you through the process, please be sure to bring your photo ID.

• How much notice do I need to give to move out?
GCI requires at least a 60-day notice to vacate.

• Do you have a preferred employer program?
Yes we do, please ask your leasing team for details!

• What are the qualification requirements, deposits and fees for GCI communities?

• Do you have a resident referral program?
Some states do allow resident referral programs; please ask your leasing team for details!

• Am I allowed to paint the apartment?
Yes, you may paint your apartment; however, you must paint it back to the original color before you vacate.

• Do you allow pets?
Every GCI community is pet friendly! Please check with the community in which you are interested for pet information.

• Do you have breed restrictions for pets? Yes, our breed restrictions include: Akita, American Staffordshire Terrier, Chow, Doberman, German Shepherd, Pit Bull, Rottweiler or any mix thereof. Management reserves the right to refuse any pet regardless of size or breed. Information is subject to change without notice.

Am I allowed to sublet my apartment?
No, GCI does not permit residents to sublet apartments.

• Am I able to apply online?
Absolutely! Just navigate to our Online Rental Application page and choose the community for which you'd like to apply!

• How do I pay my rent online?
